Garlic Butter
Oyster Mushroom 


  • 1 lb oyster mushrooms, cleaned and sliced

  • 4 tbsp butter

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 onion, finely chopped

  • 1 tsp ginger paste

  • 1 tsp red chili powder

  • 1 tsp coriander powder

  • 1 tsp cumin powder

  • 1 tsp garam masala

  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1/2 cup tomato puree

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

  • Salt, to taste

  • Fresh cilantro leaves, chopped, for garnish


  • Melt butter in a large pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  • Add chopped onions and ginger paste and sauté until onions are soft and translucent.

  • Add red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, and turmeric powder. Stir well and cook for 1-2 minutes.

  • Add tomato puree and stir well to combine. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the mixture thickens.

  • Add sliced oyster mushrooms and mix well to coat them in the masala sauce.

  • Cover the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes until the mushrooms are tender and cooked through.

  • Add heavy cream and salt to taste. Mix well and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.

  • Garnish with chopped cilantro leaves and serve hot with rice or naan.
